Welcome to Plano ISD’s Summer Inspire! This year’s Summer Inspire is an in-person event. All sessions will take place at Jasper High School. All sessions qualify for 2024-2025 trade hours. Here are some helpful tips:

You can filter for session types by using the menu bar on the right side of the screen (Elementary, GT Credit, Full-day, etc.)
Register for a session by clicking the circle icon next to the session name.

There are 80-minute, three-hour, and full-day session options for each day. Participants are invited to attend as many as they wish each day.

SPED: Writing and Updating IEP Goals

Learn how data reported in the Present Levels of Academic Achievement and Functional Performance, or PLAAFPs, drives IEP goal development. This training will focus on how to write individualized goals for your students based on their data and how to put systems in place in your classroom to easily track goal progress.

If you want to work on writing actual goals for your upcoming ARDs, please have PLAAFPs prepared so that the focus can be on writing goals and not PLAAFP development. If you do not have any upcoming summer ARDS, find a PLAAFP and goals that you would like to use and review using the class learning. The overall objective is to understand the role goals play and how to work smarter not harder when having to report progress each nine weeks.
